Situated on 78 acres and nestled in the Phoenix Park, Farmleigh House has been beautifully refurbished by the office of public works and now offers accommodation for visiting dignitaries guests of the nation, for high level Government meetings, and for public enjoyment. The estate is steeped in history and dates back to the 18th century. Guides tours allow you visit the many sections of the house including, the entrance hall and staircase, dining room, boudoir, Nobel Room and Drawing Room, Conservatory, Clock Tower, Fountain Lawn, Dutch Style Sunken Garden, Walled Garden, Boathouse , Diary and Library.
Farmleigh House is now open to the public seven days a week. Guided tours of the house take place every hour on the quarter past the hour from 10.15am to 4.15pm. Entrance is free of charge.
