"Fantastic hotel with lovely helpful staff"

Ireland Jul 2010

We have stayed here several times now and I am ashamed to admit I have never bothered to add a review. Maybe I would have if I had a bad experience. Our most recent stay was to go to a gig in the O2. This is a perfect hotel for a couple to get away from it all for the night and check out Dublin's nightlife. Checking in was a breeze and upgrading was no problem and at a fantastic rate. Our room was huge with everything we needed, it was a shame to have to leave it. Temple Bar is a busy spot, but noise was not a problem, when we finally want to get some sleep. I had a friend who stayed also in one of the standard rooms and what I saw of hers it had been refurbished and was lovely. I will definitely be booking The Morgan again.

"Excellent would recommend to anyone. Had a very good experience"

Meath Jun 2010

I recently stayed in The Morgan while attending a concert in Dublin with a group of my friends. I thought it was a very nice hotel to stay in. The appliances of the hotel is very luxurious and the rooms were very roomy and layed out very well. Nothing was to much for the staff they were very nice and I was constantly asked was there anything more they could do for me. I really enjoyed the food and spent an evening in the cocktail bar which was fabulous. It is in a prime location with a number of bars and restaurants very close by. It's a ten minute walk away from the shops and Henry St so it's perfect for a shopping trip and relaxing weekend away. I really enjoyed my stay at The Morgan and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

"Excellent Modern Hotel"

Dublin Feb 2010
I stayed in The Morgan Hotel a few weeks ago. The staff were great, room was bright and clean. Bar was good, breakfast was great and decor was cool! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying central. The meeting rooms are bright and spacious. Great location for business meeting or conference.

"The Best Hotel in Central Dublin"

January 2010
Stayed here on a business trip, excellent front of house staff, check in & check out. A big clean bedroom with all the requirements. The on the Sunday night was excellent with a great house DJ & drums set! Location is perfect! The decor is a little different but its a refreshment.

"Contemporary & Centrally Located Hotel"

January 2010
This hotel is in the middle of Temple Bar and is very well situated in the centre of Dublin. There is a car park opposite from the hotel which is very handy. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. The room we stayed in was clean, modern and very comfortable. There was plenty of choice for the breakfast and I particularly enjoyed the strawberry smoothies! I would recommend this hotel.

"5 Star Review Yet only 4 Star Prices...."

Meath, Dec, 2009
Wowey. I felt it necessary to tell you about my outstanding experience I had staying in The Morgan Hotel in Temple Bar, firstly I came as part of a team (14 in total) all staying in The Morgan. We had a conference both days and same was held in the boardroom of the Morgan you much check it out...They even brought us ice cream by surprise at 3pm, which was such a wow factor for the team meeting. They even booked us into Luigi Malones in Temple Bar as we were on a budget and also had a great time there. We came back to teh bar in the hotel, it had background music which was at the right volume for us. I must say the cocktails go down very easy in fact a little toooo easy. You should see the list... From the rooms to the food we had at lunch time to the conference room to the cocktails its an experience NOT to be missed. I enjoyed myself so much that I am going to stay again very soon with my friends this time to show them the experience. Thanks so much to the Morgan and see you soon xxx.

"The Morgan is consistently a great place to stay"

Herts, Dec, 2009
I stay at the Morgan every week for min 2 nights. I am always welcomed when I arrive and nothing is too much trouble for the staff there. The bar serves great cocktails and the tapas is always great. The rooms are comfortable and have every amenity you need. It's slightly quirky whilst retaining a lovely atmosphere. I don't a better boutique hotel in Dublin and would reccommend it!

"Home away from Home"

We Nov, 2009
It's always a pleasure to return to The Morgan, the staff and service is always so friendly and professional. They go out of their way to make sure every detail is looked after and I have to give special note of thanks to Malcolm and Dave, they really make sure you feel like it's home away from home and any request is a pleasure for them to look after. The food is superb and really well priced. From my very first stay, every person I have been in touch with from Sales, Reservations, Reception, Bar & Restaurant is friendly and professional and there is a genuine warm welcome when you arrive. The free high speed wifi is a major bonus, no special passwords or codes required, you just switch your laptop wifi button on and it picks it up immediately. With convenient parking just across the way, it's ideal for anyone staying for business or pleasure and I will continue to recommend The Morgan as it is the best place to stay in Dublin. Superb location only a few minutes walk of great pubs, restaurants and shopping and a warm welcome guaranteed each visit.

"The most helpful staff I have had the pleasure of dealing with"

Dublin Nov, 2009
Recently spent the weekend here with my wife for an anniversary. The staff, particularly an american/canadian named Dave, were amazing going above and beyond at every turn and making this little weekend break very special for my wife and I. I live in Dublin and will often stay in hotel with my wife for a break. I will be going back here because service this good is unfortunately not the norm in this city.

"Just wanted to drop a note to say how delighted I have been with your hotel. I travel with work and from the moment I set foot into your building I am impressed. the individuals at reception could not be friendlier, more open, or more informative. The hotel itself is so unique it is a pleasure on the senses. The rooms are perfect and designed to be bespoke yet deeply relaxing. The location is ideal for stepping out and feeling part of the energy and vibe which defines Dublin".

"excellent boutique hotel - great location friendly staff & fab breakfasts!"

London Aug 30, 2009

We stayed in this hotel in early august 2009. location is superb - walking distance to both the frenetic entertainment that is temple bar and also to all the main shopping streets and museums etc, we got a great big room on the first floor, big bathroom - all very modern, clean, contemporary design (indeed the interior decor of the hotel is "phillipe stark" inspired) staff very friendly and a GREAT manager on duty (Malcolm)....very approachable, attentive and helpful, always visible- walking the hotel interacting with guests etc...how rare is that personal touch nowadays!!!great breakfasts too. Free wi-fi everywhere (just tell the reception staff you'll be using it on check in). the hotel bar is a venue in itself for trendy dubliners to drink and party in the evenings at weekends - they have a great sunday night DJ too - contemporary sounds -: the hotel puts doorman on the entrances to the hotel in the evenings- this door policy keeps unwanted's out (e.g: stag/hens)...so its all a very nice, chilled out atmosphere....the noise from temple bar never really invaded the hotel itself...the hotel has an arrangement with a multi storey car park (less than 1 minute walk) - 24 hours parking is 15 euro- great value for central dublin - so all in all a gr8 place to stay in central dublin. we'll be back and will recommend it for our friends too.

The hotel staff are so friendly and there is overall good vibes in the hotel. The rooms are lovely and have many facilities, tv, wifi etc. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who is coming to Dublin.

"Perfect Escape in Dublin"

NYC June 9, 2009

I had been familiar with this hotel before I stayed in it recently. Currently living in NYC, I had lived in Dublin for two years..point being that I think my expectations were very high to begin with.

All I can say, is that the Morgan was a joy and pleasure to stay in.
I was there for a romantic mid week escape with my partner and we both loved the (upgraded! :-) suite...

From the very comfortable bed (with lighting beneath to give the impression that the bed is floating) to the full kitchen, breakfast bar and living room...ALL within the suite..it really was the perfect escape. It also made a great work environment - between relaxation.

I must thank the Manager, Colin McCusker, who made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that every aspect of our stay was a memorable one.

The hotel is situated in a perfect area for exploring Dublin City (its located in the heart of Temple Bar), and everything is walkable (Guinness Factory, Grafton St, Trinity, Docklands).

Overall the Morgan is a great place to stay, wonderful staff and coming from NYC....we felt it could teach the big apple a thing of two about putting on a show.

The hotel has a great vibe throughout...and I would recommend it.

"The epitome of trendy & eclectic...what a fantastic place"

Florence, KY May 8,2009

On my tour of Ireland, the Morgan took every hotel in which I stayed and put them on their ears. From the chandelier wired to the floor in the front hall to Mona Lisa mooning me as I entered the elevator, there was no confusing the Morgan for any place else. Colin, the bar manager, captains his ship well. His service, and that of his staff, will not be forgotten. It was the perfect spot to start and end my evenings...mingling with the diverse crowd as the DJ spun great tracks. Despite the stinging bass, I had no problems with noise in my room once the Guinness go the best of me (2nd floor room in the US...1st floor there). And yes, there is something to be said for location, location, location. Should I ever make it back to Dublin, the Morgan will be where I rest my head...and have a few cocktails.

"Very hip, great service"

Montreal Apr 9, 2009

I was really impressed by the service and the amenities. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Spent a lot of time in the bar...enjoyed the hip dj (and the bongo player)! Really loved the selection of Mojitos...staff were very friendly and attentive. The highlight of my trip.

"The Place to stay in Dublin"

Dunfermline, Scotland. Mar 22, 2009

The atmosphere in Dublin for the rugby was incredible but our stay at The Morgan topped it! This boutique hotel is ideally situated for shoppers and / or those wishing to party in the Temple Bar area. The decor is minamilist with quirky flashes of colour which is incredibly appealing and it represents real value for money. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who exuded warmth and confidence from arrival to departure. I have stayed before with my husband and son but my return with my sister was even more memorable. Dave Schneider fronts the team. His charm, local knowledge and exceptional people skills left us with the feeling that we were so much more than guests. This really is THE place to stay in Dublin and we can't wait to return.

"Opulent, Fun and Friendly"

Essex. Feb 23, 2009.

This hotel is brilliant right in the middle of all the action in Temple Bar. The staff are very helpful and when was the last time the manager gave you the tour of the Penthouse like David Schneider did! Make sure you have a look its something else! The buffet breakfast was plentiful and the staff don't hassle you out when its over. The quality of everything in the hotel is spot on. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and theres free internet access. Only thing that spoilt it was we had to come home!
