Ireland is famous for the Book of Kells which is housed in Trinity College mere minutes’ walk from The Morgan Hotel. The Book of Kells is a 9th Century gospel manuscript and is world famous. Given the hotel is located so close to Trinity College is would be a shame not to visit this must see attraction during your trip to Dublin.

National Museum of Ireland

The National Museum of Ireland has 3 seperate locations around the city, all easily accesible from The Morgan Hotel by car or foot. Choose from Archaeology, Decorative Arts and History and Natural History.

Farmleigh House

Farmleigh House, located on the grounds of the Phoenix Park, is a stunning 18th Century Manor house steeped in history. Having undergone a major restoration in recent years, it is now home to many visiting dignitaries and the venue for high level Government meetings, as well as public viewing.

Kilmainham Gaol

Kilmainham Gaol is one Europe's largest unoccupied Gaol's and has played a huge role in Irish history. Only a short bus, luas or taxi journey away from The Morgan, it's a must see for anyone visiting Dublin.

Dublin Castle

Only a 10 minute walk from The Morgan Hotel, Dublin Castle is one of Dublin's top visitor attractions. Sat on 11 acres, the site encompasses a huge range of buildings, including Government offices, The Chester Beatty Library, The Chapel Royale and The Revenue Museum, and is a brilliant resource into Irish History.

The Chester Beatty Library is one of Ireland's foremost cultural institutions and a major player in the preservation and publication of the arts in Ireland. Regarded as one of the greatest collections worldwide of manuscripts, books and artefacts from the Middle East and beyond, it's only a 10 minute walk from The Morgan, and a must see for any visitor to Dublin.

Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum is home to the most extensive collection of Iriish animal and plant specimens, and is a fascinating look into the history of the island. Located only a 20 minute walk from The Morgan, it's a must see if you're planning to stay with us.

Christ Church Cathedral

No trip to Dublin is complete without a visit to Christ Church Cathedral. At over 1,000 years old, it's Dublin's oldest building and had remained a important place of Anglican worship to this day. The Morgan Hotel is located only a 15 minute walk away from this incredible building, so it's an ideal attraction if you're staying with us.

The Irish Museum of Modern Art has only been around for less than 30 years, but has quickly become one of Ireland's foremost cultural institutions.
