National Gallery of Ireland
The National Gallery of Ireland celebrates its 150th birthday this year and to mark this momentous occasion a number of events are taking place in the gallery this year.
Located in Merrion Square the gallery run a number of exhibitions and collections annually.
Free tours of the permanent collection take place every Saturday at 12.30pm, and every Sunday at 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
The National Gallery of Ireland is within walking distance of The Morgan Hotel ( 25 minutes) or a taxi will get you there in less than 10 minutes. Located in the city centre, in the heart of Georgian Dublin, the Gallery is easily accessible on foot, and by public transport.
Monday - Saturday - 9.30am - 5.30pm
Thursday - 9.30am - 8.30pm
Sunday - 12pm - 5.30pm
Public Holidays - 10am - 5.30pm
Shutdown of the galleries begins 15 minutes before closing time.
