Dublin is embracing the spookiest month of the year with terrifying treats this October. The Bram Stoker Festival  is coming to Dublin once again and will run from Friday 23rd of October through to Monday 27th October. The festival is inspired by the heritage of world famous Dublin horror novelist Bram Stoker and his notorious novel Dracula. Did you know that Dracula himself was actually born in Dublin? Bram Stoker (1847 – 1912), was born in Dublin and was the author of the classic gothic novel, Dracula (1897), which has since become one of the most influential cultural phenomena of the modern era. You will be able to find out more details about the festival’s programme on The Bram Stoker Festival website as there is a whole range of film and literary events planned this year to whet all appetites. This deadly festival has both day and night entertainment which will suit all types of Monsters! The festival will play host to many old scary movies in unique venues such as the The Lighthouse Cinema, additional to legend movies there are multiple shows around Dublin city centre for you and your friends to experience intimate performances as well as literary events and story telling- you'll be spoilt for choice!
