The Little Museum of Dublin tells the fascinating history of Dublin, set in beautiful Georgian townhouse in the centre of the city. Located by St Stephens Green Park, The Little Museum of Dublin can be easily reached from the Morgan Hotel by foot in less than 15 minutes.
The museum was launched in 2011 with a public appeal for historic objects. The response to that appeal illustrates the remarkable generosity of the Irish people. Today there are over 5,000 artefacts in the collection.
The museum holds regular famous guided tours led by friendly experts. A range of options are available – discover the classic history of Dublin, the women in Dublin’s history or the art and literature figures in Dublin’s past. A full schedule of upcoming tours can be found on the Little Museum of Dublin’s website. Due to its limited capacity, advance booking is recommended as tours usually sell out. Tours range from €8-€15.
The museum opens 7 days a week from 11am - 5pm.
The final tour begins at 5pm.
