The opening of a brand-new award-winning restaurant

Along with the extensive redesign came a brand-new offering to Dublin’s restaurant scene - 10 Fleet Street Restaurant & Bar. The seafood centric restaurant opened its doors in July 2018 and has quickly become a go to spot in the Temple Bar neighbourhood for high quality dining. The menu offers a range of only the finest and freshest locally sourced produce all served within a chic interior, styled after a New York Supper Club. Of course, it did not take long for the new offering to be recognised by many, and in November 2018, 10 Fleet Street Restaurant & Bar was proudly awarded its first AA Rosette. The restaurant has continued to progress from strength to strength and present further new offerings including a recently launched vegan menu.

Some new additions to our amazing team

The jewel in The Morgan Hotel’s crown has always come in the form of our amazing employees. Throughout the past year, The Morgan Hotel has been fortunate to have gained some new additions to our highly dedicated team. Of particular note is the appointment of Brian E. Meehan as Executive Head Chef in December 2018, while The Morgan hotel gained a new General Manager, Michael Skehan in April 2019. Both men have brought their extensive experience along with their individual touch and have no doubt played a significant role in The Morgan Hotel’s continued success to date.

The transformation of our renowned suite - Unveiling the Aston Suite.

An exciting transformation as part of The Morgan Hotel’s refurbishment came in the form of our Aston Suite. In fitting with the unique, design focused approach of the new hotel, our former Penthouse suite has been completely refurbished to present the Aston Suite. The spacious suite, located on the top floor of the hotel encompasses the cool, contemporary design found throughout the property, offering a hidden oasis in the heart of Dublin. Its spacious balcony provides impressive views of the city.

Shaking up the fun at our Cocktail masterclasses

The Morgan Hotel has long been renowned for our signature hand crafted cocktails. Throughout the past year, we have been delighted to share some of our expert mixology secrets with our guests through the launch of our cocktail masterclasses. The masterclasses provide a guide into the history of some of our cocktails, teach you some expert techniques, show you the importance of garnishes – and maybe even let you in on the secret of our mystery formulas! Our masterclasses to date have proved an excellent way to connect with our guests and share our love all things cocktail related.

Finally, our first year could not have been such a success without the custom of every one of our valued guests. Over the past year, The Morgan Hotel has had the pleasure of welcoming guests from all locations over the world, along with many from our home turf too.
