Cows Lane Market
From June until September, Temple Bar comes alive every Saturday with the Cow’s Lane Market. From 10 – 5pm, over 60 art, fashion, jewellery and craft stalls take up shop showcasing the best work of Irish and Ireland-based designers. Only a 5-minute walk from The Morgan, this is the perfect place to pick up a special souvenir of your time in Dublin or a great gift for someone back home.
Temple Bar Food Market
Simply the best food market in Dublin, enjoy some of the highest quality Irish produce at the Temple Bar Food Market. You can find the market every Saturday from 10 - 4:30pm at Meeting House Square. No stall is the same and with selections from cheese to jam, chocolate to chorizo, you’re sure to pick up something to enjoy. The market is only a 2-minute walk from The Morgan, so you won’t have to worry about dragging your delicious purchases a long way home.
Project Arts Centre
The Project Arts Centre, only a 4-minute walk from The Morgan Hotel, is a venue unlike anything else in the city. With three separate showcase spaces on site, expect new and interesting productions in dance, theatre, art, music, and film. This is the perfect place to visit if you’re looking to do something different in Dublin. Opening hours for the centre depend on the particular event, but the centre’s box office is open Monday to Saturday from 11 – 6pm.
Smock Alley Theatre
The most diverse and unusual theatre in Dublin is housed in a stunning 17th-century building in Dublin’s cultural quarter of Temple Bar. The Smock Alley Theatre houses a wide variety of shows, including murder-mystery nights, operas, and classic Shakespeare performances. Certain productions come with a dinner option. There’s no better place to visit to get a real feel of the artistic side of Dublin. The theatre is a 7-minute walk along the quays from The Morgan Hotel, and tickets can be booked online or at the box office, which is open 7 days a week during performance time.
The Ha’penny Bridge is the oldest pedestrian crossing for the River Liffey and one of the most iconic sites in the city. Only a 3-minute walk from The Morgan, the bridge will take you to the northside of the city and across to some of the most popular shops in Dublin, at the Henry Street shopping district. Be sure to get your photo on the bridge as a memento from your time in Dublin.
One of Dublin’s most well-loved entertainment venues is The Olympia Theatre. This theatre plays host to a diverse range of shows every year.
