Just five minutes from The Morgan Hotel lies Ireland’s oldest university. The place of learning for Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker and Samuel Beckett, the stunning grounds are steeped in history, culture and home to elegant Georgian buildings. Visit the world-famous Long Room and see one of Ireland’s greatest cultural treasures: The Book of Kells. An official tour, lasting around 35 minutes, will take you deep inside the college’s 400-year history.

GRAFTON STREET

The hotel is a short five-minute walk will take you to the world-famous shopping street. Home to an array of unique shops and renowned luxury department store Brown Thomas, there is something for every keen buyer. And if shopping isn’t your thing, relax in Stephen’s Green or be captivated by the many buskers who make the street their stage. It is a world of colour and fun!

O'CONNELL STREET

A five-minute stroll in the other direction will take you across the River Liffey and onto to another one of Dublin’s most well-known streets, O’Connell Street. Home to the GPO, impressive architecture and some of the city’s stand-out landmarks, there are also plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants – and it’s ideal for getting a bit of people-watching in the centre of the city.

GAIETY THEATRE

The Morgan Hotel located near The Gaiety Theatre Dublin is the ideal base if you are attending a show. The hotel is approximately a 20-minute walk to the theatre. A taxi will have you at the theatre within 5 minutes.

The Gaiety Theatre has been part of Dublin’s rich theatrical history for the past 142 years. Located just off Grafton Street the theatre has played host to a number of famous faces over the years including, Julie Andrews.

CONVENTION CENTRE DUBLIN

The Morgan Hotel in Dublin City Centre is convenient to the award-winning Convention Centre Dublin which is located in the heart of Dublin in Spencer Dock on the banks of the River Liffey. The Convention Centre Dublin opened in September 2010 and is a premium venue specifically designed to host international conferences and corporate events.

The superbly designed Morgan Hotel is just a short 20-minute walk from the Convention Centre, making it one of the closest hotels.

THE BORD GÁIS ENERGY THEATRE

The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre (formerly The Grand Canal Theatre) is an outstanding addition to Ireland’s theatre landscape.

If you get a taxi, it will take you less than 10 minutes to get to the theatre from the Morgan hotel, on foot 25 minutes or you can take the LUAS to the venue, with the Jervis stop only a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
