EPIC, The Irish Emigration Museum is a unique and interactive experience delivering the story of Irish Emigration. Discover why 10 million people left Ireland and the impact they had on the world. Through an interactive journey, you will swipe through galleries, dance through motion sensor quizzes, listen to remastered audio from 100 years ago and watch videos that bring Irish history to life.
Discover why your ancestors left the island, where they went and what they brought with them. Uncover the past of Irish emigrants who became scientists, politicians, poets, artists and even outlaws through their stories of the adventure, hardship, and triumph that they encountered.
Delve into areas such as sport, dance, politics, and art, discovering the many figures in Ireland’s past who left a lasting mark around the world. Then trace the history of your own ancestors in the Irish Family History Centre, where the expert Genealogists can help you unearth your Irish roots.
In 2019, EPIC was voted Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction at the prestigious World Travel Awards, beating Buckingham Palace, the Roman Colosseum, and the Eiffel Tower!
The EPIC Museum can be easily reached on foot from the Morgan Hotel in less than 15 minutes. Ticket prices vary depending on the activities chosen. A general admission adult ticket costs €16.50, while a child ticket is €8.00. Children under five years of age can enter for free. A family ticket (2 adults & 2 children) costs €40.00.
